Contemporary Farmhouse with Pool and Spa and Conservation Land Right Next Door
This custom crafted home offers three levels of living. The spacious main floor is filled with natural light and has an open-air floor plan. The stylish kitchen has a farmers’ sink and an island with counter seating for four. Off the kitchen is a butler’s pantry, mudroom, laundry room, and half bath. Enjoy meals at the wooden farm table and relax in the living room where there is a large sectional sofa and TV. French doors lead out to the back patio area.
One primary bedroom is located off the living area and features a king-size bed, TV, large walk in closet, and private bath.
Upstairs there is a second primary bedroom, also with a king bed, TV and private bath. Bedroom #3 has two single bunk beds with the bathroom just outside the bedroom.
More room to gather is found in the finished lower level. There are lots of games, media center, and even a foosball table. An additional sleeping area has a queen bed. There is a full bath in the hall with an extra washer and dryer.
Outdoor living has it all. Soak up the sun, lounge, and unwind by the pool. There is dining, gas grill, and comfortable seating on the stone patio. Rinse off the sand and salt in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. There is plenty of yard space for a game of catch or hide and go seek.
Scenic Sengekontacket Pond is close by. Throw in a kayak, paddle board, or canoe and spend a day on the water. Want to explore further and take in the local flora and fauna? Caroline Tuthill Preserve abuts the property. This conservation land is over 150 acres and has forest, wetlands, marsh, and meadow. There are miles of walking trails.
Edgartown Village with its picturesque harbor, galleries, shopping, and restaurants is two miles away.
Pool is 30 x 16 and ranges from 3.7 to 7 feet. The pool is heated to 80 degrees and included in the rental fee from the last week of June through the last week of August. The spa is heated to the same temperature as the pool. There is an additional surcharge of $250 to heat the pool to 80 degrees in June and September. The spa may be heated to 101 degrees for 4 hours per day between 6 to 10 pm for an additional $200 per week.
