I remember in my early days as a real estate agent, my managing broker would say to me, “Pauline, the sky is the limit.” It sounded like a cliché to me and I don’t think I really understood the power of that statement until much later.
On occasion, one of my agents will say something to me like, “I’ll never be as successful as so and so.” And my responding question to them is usually, “How can you be so sure?”
I love that question: “How can you be so sure?” My goal, of course, in asking that question, is to challenge their limiting belief about themself. If you can break through that barrier, shift your perspective, and truly believe that the sky is the limit, then indeed it is.
This is one of the beautiful things about the real estate business. There is no cap, no limit to what you can achieve. The only limits are those you impose upon yourself.
So, stop limiting, and start believing.
